The Loveland Lions Club operates the Buckhorn Northern Railroad in North Lake Park for the city. About 25,000 excited kids of all ages will ride the train every season. The Loveland Lions Club members and volunteers put in over 2,000 hours each year to make sure the kids won’t be disappointed.

The Train runs everyday except for Mondays with the exception of Memorial Day and Labor Day. The 2026 opening day will be Friday, May 15 and the ending day will be Monday September 7.
